Support the Noble Mission of the
Light of Buddhadharma Foundation International (LBDFI)

We warmly invite you to support the noble mission of the Light of Buddhadharma Foundation International (LBDFI) through your kind and generous donations. In the Buddhist tradition, it is said that the gift of Dharma is the greatest gift of all. Your contribution helps ensure that these timeless teachings continue to illuminate the world for generations to come.

By making a donation today, you will directly support the vital programs and initiatives carried out by our Foundation. We also welcome partnerships through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs for organizations wishing to contribute to cultural preservation, education, and spiritual heritage.

Key Programs

Each year, LBDFI joyfully hosts the International Tipitaka Chanting Ceremony (ITCC) in Bodhgaya, the sacred Seat of Enlightenment

In addition, LBDFI organizes Turning the Dharma Wheel Programs at ancient Buddhist holy sites throughout India

The Foundation also supports the production of Buddha statues to be given out to the local Indian monasteries and temples

Each year, LBDFI joyfully hosts the International Tipitaka Chanting Ceremony (ITCC) in Bodhgaya, the sacred Seat of Enlightenment. This extraordinary gathering brings together nearly 25,000 devoted participants, including thousands of Buddhist monks from Southeast Asia, who chant the sacred Pali Canon over twelve days from December 2–13. This support helps ensure food and ceremonial costs are covered each year.

In addition, LBDFI organizes Turning the Dharma Wheel Programs at ancient Buddhist holy sites throughout India, helping to revive and honor the country’s profound spiritual heritage. Each year, we focus on at least one regional program that supports monastics in leading Tipitaka chanting ceremonies, participating in Walks for Peace, and offering Dharma teachings within local communities. Through these efforts, the living teachings of the Buddha continue to spread throughout India, reaching new generations and strengthening the presence of the Dharma in the land of its origin. We usually support a group of 25-30 monastics to participate in this yatra along with supporting the ceremonial offerings of food and dana.

The Foundation also supports the production of Buddha statues to be given out to the local Indian monasteries and temples, as well as the training and education of new Indian monks, ensuring the continuity of the Buddha’s teachings.

Your generous support helps sustain the many ceremonial, educational, and logistical efforts required to bring these programs to life. In gratitude, we will be honored to announce and acknowledge your donation during the upcoming International Tipitaka Chanting Ceremony.
