Dear Friends of the Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha,
As we enter 2026, we offer our deepest blessings to each of you—near and far—with hearts full of gratitude, humility, and quiet joy.
This past year marked a historic moment in our shared lifetime.
Together with 17 Indian Buddhist organizations, we welcomed nearly 20,000 monks, nuns, and lay practitioners to the Seat of Enlightenment in Bodhgaya—the largest Buddhist gathering in modern history ever held at this sacred site.
At the very place where the Blessed One awakened, we came together in a rare and profound collective act: the recitation of the concluding sections of the Vinaya Piṭaka. With this completion, we now turn our collective aspiration toward the Abhidhamma Piṭaka—continuing a living transmission that few generations are ever blessed to witness, let alone participate in.
These are not ordinary events. They are once-in-a-lifetime opportunities to gather, recite, offer, and serve together—for the benefit of all beings. You may read all our messages from various great leaders including the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. Just click here to enjoy our Opening brochure.
This great coming together also opened countless pathways for generosity to flow—through offerings of food, flowers, service, time, and care. Each contribution, both seen and unseen, became part of a vast field of merit, extending far beyond the ceremony itself and rippling outward for the benefit of many.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Corporate Body of the Buddha Educational Foundation (CBBEF) in Taiwan for their extraordinary generosity in printing all of our texts this year, ensuring the Dharma could be shared, recited, and preserved with care and precision.
We also offer our sincere thanks to the Khyentse Foundation International for their generous support of our Dharma Training Wheel program, alongside their meaningful contribution toward the offering of Buddha statues—support that continues to strengthen the living transmission of the Buddha’s teachings.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Government of India, and in particular the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, whose generous support made this historic gathering possible alongide
Shri Kiren Rijiju Hon’ble Minister of Parliamentary Affairs, Government of India. We also thank the District Magistrate, the Bodhgaya Temple Management Committee, the support staff on the ground, and the leadership of the Governor of Bihar, Chief Minister of Bihar.
Our deep appreciation also goes to Nava Nalanda Mahavihara, the International Buddhist Confederation, and the many outstanding institutions and individuals whose cooperation and dedication ensured the success of this sacred endeavor.
Finally, and most importantly, we express our deepest gratitude to all the organizations and individuals who so generously supported the offerings of food and flowers. Without each contribution—every rupee given—this sacred gathering could not have been completed in such a meaningful and gracious way.
From the smallest offerings to the most substantial acts of generosity, each gift mattered. This collective spirit of giving made the ceremony possible, and we could not have done this without your unwavering support.

A Sacred Return to the Seat of Enlightenment 21st Ceremony Dates: December 2nd-13th, 2026 Join Us Again-India Leads Again!
For over two decades, our work has been guided by a single aspiration:to preserve, restore, and awaken the Buddhist heritage of India—the sacred land where the Buddha walked, taught, and attained Enlightenment.
Today, that long-cherished vision is taking tangible form. Each gathering at Bodhgaya is not merely an event, but a return—an act of remembrance, devotion, and collective responsibility to safeguard the Buddha Sasana for future generations.

The Living Invitation of Ehipassiko — Come and See for Yourself
The Buddha described the Dhamma as ehipassiko—an open invitation to come and see for oneself. This timeless principle reminds us that the Dhamma is not something to believe in blindly, but something to be experienced directly, through careful attention, ethical living, and cultivated wisdom.
Every recitation, pilgrimage, and peace walk is an expression of this invitation—calling us not only to remember the past, but to embody the teachings here and now.
Give a Buddha to an Indian Buddhist Community
Imagine giving back a Buddha to a village.
This year, together, we offered 220 Buddha images to villages across India—each now being lovingly placed in communities where the Dharma continues to awaken. These sacred images are artistically crafted in Odisha by a Padma Shri–awardee, honoring India’s living artistic heritage alongside its spiritual legacy.
The depth of meaning and collective joy generated by this offering has been profoundly moving. In response, we have committed to continuing this sacred act of generosity, making offerings of Buddhas at the Seat of Enlightenment, where the Buddha himself awakened for the benefit of all beings.
If you feel called to participate in this rare and meaningful offering—one that brings beauty, dignity, and remembrance of the Buddha back into daily village life—I invite you to contact me personally at the email below.
