LBDFI began work with the Japanese Temple at Rajgir to erect a peace bell in 2007, and the bell was completed and opened in a ceremony with the presence of the Governor of Bihar. In 2010 the bell was resited to overlook Vultures peak, on a promontory where it stands to this day.
