Dear All,
We are getting ready for our upcoming 18th International Tipitaka Chanting Ceremony from December 2nd-13th this year, which will be organized by the Cambodian International Mahasangha. It takes almost a year of planning to make the ceremony a success, involving preparing all the texts from the Chatta Sanghayana version approved during the Sixth Buddhist Council, arranging for the speakers, food, tents, accommodation, and all the other aspects that go into it. We are truly grateful to the Corporate Body of the Buddha Educational Foundation of Taiwan which sponsors the printing and shipping of the precious words of the Buddha on an annual basis. We also have so much to thank the Khyentse Foundation for in their unwavering support of establishing the Dharma Training Wheel program, which for the past six years has taken the tradition of reciting the words of the Buddha to all the holy sites. Our aspiration is to wake up the Motherland of India by resounding the Dharma in every state of the Aryadesh so that one day the blessings of the Buddha Sasana will be fully revived in their ancient motherland. Today, we are beginning to see real signs of positive change but it takes great effort and energy to move this vision forward.
